The company I’m working with will revoke the internet connection on 27th, that is next Monday. They reported that the heavy usage of internet from several internet login IDs (including the one i’m using) is very heavy and they are facing ‘internet problem’.
My job doesn’t need me to be online at all time. But I realized I can’t do any work when the internet is down. I don’t chat that frequent and mostly to 2-3 close friends (and boyfriend too) once or twice a day. Most of the time I get online just to show ‘i am here’, not ‘aku online ni, tolong la borak ngan aku’. The only browser running is for my Gmail. Or maybe another browser for surfing, which i rarely use.
But I can’t do my work when the internet is down! I’ll keep refreshing the Firefox until I get the default homepage. Then after the internet is okay, I don’t know what to do with it anymore.
I guess the internet connection at my office is just like me. When the connection is okay, it means ‘I am here’, not ‘I’m available tolong la pakai aku’.
