I’m clearing my room this weekend. Wait, did I say somewhere in the last entry that I want to make cards? Oh well. Anyways, there are few items I’d like to put on ebay. I wonder if ebay Malaysia get much of local attention here. But I’ve sold a pair of shoes there before. How many of you actually buy/sell items on ebay Malaysia? Or do you go somewhere else like Lelong, Oobey, Mudah, Tumpang or other website?
p/s: Do you realize some bloggers are copycats? If you read more than one blog per day you might notice couple of blogs have similar flair of writings or using the same term or tried to do what the other did in the same perfect way. I wonder who copied who. Poor BRAINLESS wannabes.

How do you normally check the validity of email address given to you? How would you know it’s a real working address, not the ones which reply with undeliverable status? If your business relies a lot on email address, you might want to consider CDYNE’s Email Verification tool. It works in clean way without sending spam. Just build it into your contacts application, it will verify all the email addresses before you send them out at one go.

It’s already Friday, I’m so done with this week, I’m so done with trainings. But I’m not looking forward for the weekend either. The air-cond in my room is acting up. It blows hot air. I think she’s having split personality. So sometimes she thinks she’s a heater. I don’t mind if there’s no air-conditioning at night, but during the day it gets very hot in my room. And I’m planning to make loads of cards this weekend. Can’t imagine myself doing cards in an oven.
Oh well, just like last week, am gonna start this weekend with some gastronomical pleasure. I’m off to dim sum buffet everyone! Be good!!

Someone I knew from school was once involved in an accident. It was raining, the car next to her suddenly decided to switch lane without checking. Her car spun several times and ended up in the drain. She had narrow escape, with broken ankle, bruises and cuts, but her car was badly damaged.
But her suffering and shock did not end there. When she was making insurance claims, she never knew it was so tedious and took her the longest time. Please bear in mind that she was with crutches and all, and it was hard to get anywhere without a car.
If only I knew about Keypoint Legal Services earlier, I would certainly recommend them to her. Keypoint Legal Services are known with ‘no win – no fee agreement’ tagline. In other words, they will pursue her case seriously so she could get personal coverage for her accident claims.
Apart from road traffic accidents, they also provide services for accidents at work and industrial diseases such as skin infection or deformation and asthma (just to name a few).
As I read their website along, another thing that I would consider next time when I’m planning for a holiday is their legal services for holiday related accidents. Say if you slipped or fell because of someone else’s negligence, you have the right to claim for financial settlement using Keypoint Legal Services.

I received an email asking where did I take the pictures of my cards, whether I took them in a studio. I didn’t go far beyond my parents’ pad though, and it’s only in my own room. I normally have 2 options.
If you can guess, first ’studio’ is the place where I put the thing of where I put my dump out. Another ’studio’ is the place where I put my dump in.
Nope, they are not toilet bowl.
Studio number one is the seat I’m sitting on right now :D. I love this one the best because of the clean white glossy effect.

Studio number two is my wastepaper bin, with 2 pieces of paper

It’s safe to try them at home.

Financial difficulties could happen to anyone if they did not manage their money and assets carefully. Someone once said the best way to get rid of debt is not to make one yourself. But how many of us could buy car and house 100% with cash, especially when you just started working and trying to start a life? Besides, if we still didn’t know how to manage cash and credit card, we might get trapped in credit card debt as well.
If you are having problem managing debt, scrapping your way just to get your stomach full tonight, you might want to consider IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) to assist you if you don’t want to resort to bankruptcy and leave bad mark in your financial record.
When you think there is no way out, IVA will become a mediator in between you and the creditors. IVA will help you freeze your interest and plan a payment schedule you should follow between 3 to 5 years until your debt is clear. Another role of IVA involves with legal. This means they will prohibit any law action taken against you from your creditors. Check out IVA website, you will find the ClearDebt Analyser tool very useful in deciding which is the best method to get you out of debt. And this tool comes free!

I mentioned before that I found it quite hard to shape a figure out a craft wire. It can be done, but it requires practise. But to save time and avoid wire wastage, I’d like to share the tips I used. No, I still haven’t get myself a WigJig, but I tried this on the heart shape on my gift tag.
The tip is, cookie cutter!! That’s it. Only cookie cutter. Just get the shape you like, and wrap the wire around it. Easy peasy.

p/s: For the heart on gift tag, I inserted gold and red beads.

When I read this article, I decided to share my opinion on dental health because somehow I think it relates to me.
When people mentioned medical bills, many will think it will only cover similar things like heart, lung, bones etc. But in reality, dental health is also important to everyone.
Nowadays, with advancement and research discoveries in dental apparatus and better medications, dental bills have gone up to the point where the patients willing to take secured loans so that they will be able to afford the treatment.
I used to ‘suffer’ overbite and one slightly twisted tooth. I opted for orthodontic braces and still wearing it and I know it’s not cheap just to get straight, even and beautiful teeth. Besides the 4 figures I had to spend when I first had the metal bracket fixed, I still have to pay monthly treatment for the adjustment. And couple hundreds of bucks for cleaning utensils every now and then.
However, treatment does not only cover cosmetic surgery, serious cases like dental implants are the choice for patients who don’t want to resort to dentures.
Dentists also always try to come up with better options for treatment, and tried not to give up hope and extract infected teeth with rotten root. That’s why we frequently heard about root canals, where dentists try to treat the root without having to extract the tooth. And before you know it, you’ll be burden with thousands of bucks and countless dental follow-ups. To make it easy on the bills, and able to get the treatment at the same time, secured loans will help so patients can pay without pain.

I was doing a card when suddenly an idea came for this gift tag. So I started doing the gift tag instead. As a matter of fact, the heart shape inside the window was not meant for this gift tag either. It was for another card. I should stop being random like that eh?
Then, I had no idea what to put as greetings. But I think the heart means a lot already, I don’t need a word to describe it

If you’re happened to be around Illinois and looking for apartments in Chicago, (or condo too!) or are you going there soon, or bloghopped and found me, have you found a place to stay? If you’re going through agents or renting services agencies, are you having a tough time dealing with them? Do they listen to your needs?
It’s hard enough to find apartments in Chicago IL, and now the agents are offering you something you can’t afford? Sounds familiar?
Worry no more, because Chicago apartment finders are at your command. It’s so easy to search for a home from this website. For example, if you’re looking for Chicago condos, you just fill in the details of the location, minimum and maximum rental you’re willing to pay, and other specification like bedrooms and bathrooms. You’ll be presented with matching results (with pictures!) details and of course the price. From there you can just shortlist the one(s) you like, so at least you have some idea of what to expect when you go to take a look.

I saw a guy at my office eating packed food during lunch break.
I have a thing for guys who packed their lunch to work. Or school. In fact, one of the reason that made me wanted to know about *The Boyfriend* more (before we were an item) was when during online chat he told me he wasn’t going out for lunch break because he packed his mom’s spaghetti to work. I went ‘aaauuwww’ (*^_^*).
I didn’t pack my lunch everyday but most of the time I will. If time permits, I packed my breakfast too. Frankly, it has nothing to do with financial situation, I think it’s just one of the habit I couldn’t kick out because I remember I brought packed food since standard 1 (unfortunately, I didn’t go to kindergarten/pre-school, I pretended to my parents that I was a smart arse for such things hehe).
Besides home cooked food, which is certainly yummy, it helps a lot now since I changed my eating habits. I hardly finished any bought meal with standard portions. Since I snacked a lot during office hour, when the lunch time came I’d be half full. So packing food before work will allow me to estimate the portions which I know I can finish.
Bawak bekal rocks!
