So this is what I’ve been doing in between life and ‘baby project’.
Collect GSC The Chronicles of Narnia - Prince Caspian shotglasses. One more to go and I’ll have the complete set. Hurrah!

My little sisters came for sleepover and before they went home, I asked them to choose one fabric that they like from my collection. Then I sew them one scrunchy each from the fabric that they have chosen, plus one for their mom.

I did couple of pin cushions. My mom wanted the same as what I sew in class, so I made her the pink one. Then suddenly I also wanted the same :P. I made myself the green/black pin-cushion. Pictured here with my Clover Quilting Fine Needles. It’s so fine it went through sewing machine needle. It’s a sewing notion made by the genius. Love it!

I’m doing patchwork. It’s a wall decoration patchwork. Only about 40% done. That’s 31 patchwork per piece. And I already done 10 pieces only, shades of red and green. Another 10 to go, this time in shade of pink and blue. It’s pretty time consuming but this is one of the thing I can do for hours without getting boring. And I love the spiral shades of colors too. So what the heck. 310 patches to go. Gambatte!!

Goodness.. Look at the mess.

Each of this piece has 31 patches.

The best thing about buying Janome sewing machine is I get 1 year free sewing class. Each month they will sell around two sewing tutorials together with materials and instruction. I can choose to do which one I like, and I’m free to go to the class whenever I wanted, and they are open on weekend too. Tell me if you’re thinking of getting one of this splendid machine, email me at laydiefa[at]silent-echo[dot]org.
I hope my next few entries will reveal what ‘major’ thing I’m currently working on. Can’t wait to share already.

Good girls go to heaven,
Genius girls collect proof,
Bad girls go everywhere,
Sassy girls go to hell (or shut down blog).
It’s true you couldn’t fight love, but (if you at least finish high school) you COULD HAVE stop yourself from hurting the person he loves.
Rest in peace.

I love how technology helps in today’s life. Each day, somebody will come up with something that can make life easier, faster and at the same time, without compromising the security.
I rely a lot on online shopping. Most of my craft stuff, I sell them online. There were few times my parcel was delayed. I didn’t know if the buyer already received it, or it got stuck at the custom at whichever countries, I didn’t know if it just got lost in the way. At that time I was helpless because there are so many risk taken and money had been spent, I feel so bad for the customers.
This morning while browsing the internet I found a gadget produced by GTX Corp. It is a GPS tracking device. At first I thought it is just a normal GPS thing people fix into their car, but I was totally wrong.
This device will make anything traceable. You can just look them up from Google Maps, now, who doesn’t use Google Maps these days?
This very small wonder, which is only matchbook size, can be used to track parcel, people, and vehicle (just to name a few). In fact, the software that comes with it can send an automated email if the thing you are tracking goes out of the way.
I’m sure the GPS technology will benefit all of us in many kind of way, but this tracking and monitoring system is a must-have!

Anyone knows where I can sell old magazines? I’m clearing my room. They are all in good conditions, it’s just that I don’t have the heart to throw them away or get them recycled into toilet paper. I have computer and technology, women and interior designs magazines.
I’m selling them in yearly publications, not monthly. Very cheap. Nothing more than 20% from their original price. Anyone knows any shop that takes past magazines?

A friend put my nickname in Facebook as ‘the girl with endless stomach’. I’m happy to say I took that as a compliment. Standing at exactly 5 feet tall short, I had actually amazed people with the amount of food I could stuff myself with.
Somehow these days, I noticed I can’t lose weight as easy as before. I know age, metabolism and lifestyle are the main factors, so I’m thinking of getting something safe and effective like Generic Acomplia.
It contains Rimonabant, which is an anorectic anti obesity drug. It helps by curbing my cravings, so when I eat less, I will lose weight. People who’s addicted to smoking should try this too, as it is also proven to control smoking addiction.

I have love-hate relationship with craft blogs and websites. I love looking at other people crafty ideas, but I hate to be here (at the office) because it makes me feel crippled because I can’t do what they are doing. It makes me want to go home and do something.
It’s just like, you have all the money, but you have nothing to buy. Nothing fancy you.
But when I reached home normally I only have few hours to do all that. Minus cleaning up, laundry, play with cat etc. I’m so looking forward for the long weekend. Hope to come up with something and share with you next week.

My company makes it compulsory for us staff to undergo at least 6 days of training each financial year. We have loads of training modules, and one of it is Six Sigma Education.
Everyone from different department and titles are expected to adapt well to business strategy. I must say everyone gets so much the benefits from the course. It taught us unique approach in learning interactively and engaging to the Six Sigma Education objectives.

Thank you so much for the great response for the handbag hooks. Me and *The Boyfriend* had been busy frequenting post office. Lucky there are few which opens til 10pm nearby our homes. There are still plenty of hooks, so if you have not get yourself one (or two) yet, maybe you should get one (or two) for your spouse or friends
I’m currently busy with work and my major baby project. I love love love to share my baby project with all of you but I’m gritting my teeth here, because I’m planning to let the cat out only after everything is smooth and running. I hope by June 2008, I’ll be able to make something out from my craft obsession and at the same time, keeping my day job.
Stay tuned!
p/s: I know I owe people few tagging games, will make it up! Tunggu.

Nowadays writing can generate income too. Apart from blogging, internet robustness is constantly seeking for writers who can write for content of different backgrounds.
At encyclocentral.com, they are looking for writers to write articles for many topics, auto and trucks, families and parenting, food and drinks (just to name a few). I’m sure many writers out there will jump into this opportunity of paid article submission.
For $5 per article, and ability to brush up writing skills, getting paid for a hobby is not something you want to miss out.

PayPerPost has become part of my obsession with internet. I found myself logging in every where with internet connection. Be it at work, at home or whenever I am outside with wireless fidelity facility.
The best part of doing internet advertising is you can do it at my own time, and I can pick any opportunity that I favor.
As I mentioned in one of my entry before, SocialSpark is the new and better version of PayPerPost. This morning when I logged into my PayPerPost (you can join both PPP and SocialSpark and get more income, that’s the best part), I received a notification that SocialSpark has been officially opened to public. For bloggers who have not sign-up, this is your chance people. Been eyeing that Prada shades? How about not-sold-in-this-country skincare or cosmetics on ebay? Well, take this opportunity to gain legal income with SocialSpark.
What I love about SocialSpark is bloggers don’t have to fight to grab for opportunities. If there is an opportunity you like but already taken, you can click ‘Wait For Slot’ which means you’ll be in the waiting queue and will be notified by email once you got it. Another advantage is, if you’re not eligible for an opportunity, but you feel you can write the opportunity since you have lots of experience and knowledge about that product/service/issue, you can always contact the advertiser and apply for the opportunity.
SocialSpark also create better and friendlier environment among bloggers and advertisers. We can check each others profile and make new friends while at that. Here is mine. Go sign-up and add me.

This is another project I did during my sick leave. It finished within a day, but I only managed to put the finishing touch last night after I got myself a bottle of fabric glue for the butterfly patch.
This is the sketch book I’m using to sketch (duuhh?) and draw or jot down any ideas I get for my craft. I bought two of these sketch books and gave one for *The Boyfriend* for his birthday. Love love love the paper, it doesn’t bleed.
I combined two fabrics for the cover, and glued an iron-on butterfly on it. I always have a thing for stuff with butterflies, and ribbons :D. I’ve choosen to glue instead of ironing the patch because from my experience with iron-on, they fell off easily after a few wash. And finally I glued a pair of eyes on the butterfly.
Me love me sketch book!!

The original sketch book.

Fitted with a cover.
