Besides where-do-babies-come-from questions, these are among the questions I asked my parents (as I was told) that they could not answer:

1. Why reverse gear doesn’t have speed? Like R1, R2, R3? Maybe sometimes we need to reverse fast, sometimes we want to reverse slow.

2. What is infinity? (When I asked my mom what is the last number)? Why can’t I know the last number? So when do I have to stop counting?

3. Why when I said the same thing the kid in the TV said, you will scold me? But in the TV everyone thinks it was funny and they laughed?

4. Why in the TV when the kid sang in public, nobody noticed? When I do it at the park just now everyone was looking at me.

-_-

Was I a difficult child?

I’m sure everyone has heard about the term ‘middle of the month’. That’s what we always came out with whenever we are in the period of where the cash we had already spent, but sadly, the payday is still days away. Sometimes we don’t need thousands, just a couple of hundred just to get through the day. For instance, to pay the monthly car park rent, or to buy diapers for the baby, just to name a few.

I never found any financial institution which provide small scale loan for its customers, but just now my friend told me about payday loans. They can give just what I need if I ever fall in those hard times again. Plus, it’s so easy to apply, I don’t have to walk to the bank. Everything is so convenience and can be done via online and mail/fax.

At home, I’m always doing something. I mean, there’s always something to do. I don’t know if I’m having OCD but the urge to do (or come up with something) will always be there. Like. after the kitchen is mopped and stoved cleaned, while getting some drink from the fridge I’d decide the fridge need some rearrangement and cleaning. Two minutes later you’d see me scrubbing and repacking the fridge’s content. So I hardly feel boring at home.

The only things that bothers me lately is someone to talk to. I don’t mind if the other person is doing other stuff and not sharing same interest with me, but to know that there’s another being to chat with or just simply, be there, fills up the emptiness.

Oh well, maybe I’m just missing the whole commotion at home. Tomorrow will certainly get better after I see everyone in the other city down south. Hope you have a great weekend :)

I am sure many of you heard of Houdini, or his full name Harry Houdini. He’s like, the magician legend of all time. I first read about Houdini in a local library during school holidays. That was when my interest in the art of illusion flickered. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not into doing the illustration myself. But I love watching one.

Illustration show has evolved from just, show, to performance. Criss Angel has take illustration show one step further. He combined it with dance, prop, majestic sound system and a complex plot.

CRISS ANGEL Believe will be performing at Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas soon. I wish Las Vegas is nearer so I can get the first show for public on September 12. Ticket price starts from $59 onwards. Show will run 10 times a week, with twice daily from Friday to Thursday.

Criss’s show will be featuring the famous performance group of all time, Cirque Du Soleil. I just watched the promo video, the choreographer is none other than the master himself, Wade Robson. It can’t be any better isn’t it?

There’s also a contest with free tickets as the gifts. You might want to try your luck and who knows you might get 2 tickets to watch Criss. It’s so easy to enter. Just send test message ‘Believe’ to 22122. That’s all. So get your phone now!

Network at the office is getting ridiculous lately. If you didn’t see me commenting at your blog (especially if you’re hosted by blogspot), it’s because I can’t anymore, not because I don’t want to.  To make it worse, I can only see text, no more images (especially if you host the pictures at  flickr and imagebucket).

Wordpress is still safe, and self hosted website is also fine. I don’t get online so much at home lately, is busy with crafting.

Oh boy, everyday is going to be long day at work.

I’m a brand new aunt.

Well, he’s actually 3 weeks early (his dad - my brother, was 2 weeks early). I already saved up my annual leave to be in JB in middle of July. But that little fella just being smart and tricked everyone , oh by the way, his head was not even engaged last week, and decided to make everyone went lunatic when he wanted to come out and decided to see the world on Saturday noon.

My parents just came back from 12 days trip on Friday night, so imagine how hectic we were after my brother called on Saturday morning, imagine a house full with laundry and the packing for the trip there. My parents supposed to be in JB next week and accompany my sister-in-law until the delivery and her confinement. They went off right after lunch.

I hope my sister-in-law will enjoy her confinement because with my mother, there’s no such thing as ‘confinement’ .. heheee.. so syiok. All my mom asked is NEVER to visit the baby and the mother after dawn. That’s it. No cannot eat this, cannot eat that. No must wear this, must not wear that. Pardon my insensivity, but I just found it’s miserable with capital M.

So Muhammad Izrael Haiqall, welcome to the family!! You’ll love us definitely. We are the funniest family on earth so far (because I haven’t found any family at par with ours :P), so please expect a noisy house at all times. We love animals, we have cats, fish and.. and.. of course we love food. We love trips to nowhere. We love fishing. Your Tok Ayah has a boat and three modest properties along the coastline. And another one next to a downstream complete with a small jetty. Everyone in the family follows sports (badminton, soccer, F1, golf) except me. I was not bombarded for not being one, so it’s okay if you don’t want. Your dad might entice you to become Manchester United fan, but err, that one you have to deal with your father lah.

You are the first grandchild on our side, and first grandson on your maternal side. So please expect exclusive attention and getting showered with gifts and what nots. Because I, was the first child, grandchild and great-grandchild, I’ve been through all that too. Hohoho.. But please keep your feet on the ground, because the youngsters along the family line will envy you for the fact that you’re given responsibilities and trusts earlier than you expected. Haih.. Maybe I should save the last part for another 7 years lah. First child syndrome skejap. :P

Another thing to note is, our family NEVER practise gender discrimination. That means, either girl/boy, men/women has EQUAL opportunity and right of opinion. We are not like some families who give extra attention or special treatment just because you were born with a birdie. In our family, the boys also cook, do laundry and wash their own dishes, and the girls also go fishing and camping. Everybody does the same thing. Paham dak?

Aku ni pun, budak tu baru keluar dah garang². Kesian. :p

Here’s Haiqall few hours after popping out. His eyes are so round! Sorry for the picture quality. MMS-ed by an excited first time grandfather.

I haven’t decided what he should be calling me. I’m thinking in between ‘Tante’ (aunt in German, I think Indo too) or ‘Tia’ (aunt in Italian). He’ll be calling my sisters Cik Yin & Cik Yang (Yin & Yang???), my another brother Uncle Adik (double ???). And for my mother, we’re still deciding in between ‘Lola’ (grandmother in Tagalog) or ‘Nonna’ (in Italian).

Hehe gedik.

Lucky my mom, the quilt she made for her first grandchild completed just in time. This blanket was handstitched. Each pieces of it. All. The. Way. Gigih okay. *I’m not worthy*

The tag I made in like, 5 minutes? Everything was express.

I’m driving down to JB this weekend. Will stay there for a week or so. It’s been years since I drove alone on a long trip. Maybe I should think of what motherly-perasan-penuh-feeling-keibuan picture poses I can do with my nephew in the future to beat the driving boredom (personal joke with Lucy, hehe).

There are so many of my friends with blog (maybe two blogs and more) lately. Seven years back nobody would have known this trend would stay. I have seen email signature with blog address. Let’s not start with signatures of members inside the forum.

The great thing about blog right now is you can monetize it.

Before this I was involved with payperpost. I started making modest income. It didn’t shower me with a luxury car or a trip to Alaska, but enough to make me happy ‘walking’ to ebay.

Now there is another thing better than that. SocialSpark. Besides blog advertising, SocialSpark provides social networking benefits too. Things are just getting better and better aren’t they? And it’s an equal opportunity to every parties. Blogger, advertiser and blog advertising company.

These are SocialSpark’s code of ethics:

-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly

Now that you made friends over at socialspark, I am sure they will visit your blog too. Thus, increase the traffic (hey, that’s another benefits!). Many new people will visit your site besides the friends you already knew. I bet lots you who do not blog are tempted to start one now, no? Oh by the way, the more traffic you have, the more attractive you look to advertiser. They of course want to invest in something that will give huge profits and attention in return.

Making money has never been this easy. All I have to do is write about a product/service/promotion, post it on my blog and get paid. Oh! Making new friends while at that.

SocialSpark also came out with cool GUI for bloggers and advertisers. Sign up now and monetize your blog.

There are always first times for everyone. Here’s mine:

What’s yours?

Lookie lookie.. Hammer with ruler!

I’m so gonna need this when I move in to my new pad soon.

I know I haven’t been updating but while blog hopping just now I found more reason to keep writing. These days time is so precious I wish time are sold at the shop so I can go and buy them.

Before I went off the tangen, I have to tell you that I just registered with dNeero survey, which by the way, not only does surveys okay, I can make money from it.

So here’s my first survey, you might want to know more about me. Let’s see what we have in common :)

I know it was very lame of me, but the last few weekends where channel E! was airing marathon of The Kardashians and Gene Simmons Family Jewels, I was hooked up to the tube up until wee hours of the morning. But I was also doing the crafting works (denying the guilt).

I’m not sure what if my life is aired on TV. I know some of the things me and my siblings did at home are pretty stupid, but I can’t imagine calling my mom asking whether ‘tuna’ comes from chicken or pig (this is from another celebrity reality show, not going to reveal it here).

I don’t mind looking ugly on TV, but to make myself look stupid? Not in a zillion years.
