Girls with curly and frizzy hair want their hair straightened, while girls with straight hair want their hair curly and bouncy. We just can’t get enough of what we have don’t we?

I’ve been using VS 15mm hair curler since 3 years back. Serves me well. But then I craved for bigger curls and I want the curls to bounce, bounce and bounce. I always love the type they used in salons, so instead of getting customer-end hair curler, I went to the shop which sell salons stuff. Which means salons and beauty centers buy their gadgets and apparatus from this shop. Ever wonder why your hair dryer never works as good as the one they used in salon? That’s because you’re using customer-end hair dryer.

And so.. Last Monday I got myself this!!

TADAA!!

It’s 32mm, double of her VS sister diameter. It’s salon standard and oh boy didn’t I just love the curls it made. I’m still trying to gain full control of it, I mean, the rod is bigger and longer so I could feel the heat right on my face when I swooshed it near. Anyway, practice makes perfect. No?

Now I pronounce you, sister roller and sister roller.

I tried it right after I brought it home and within my terkial-kial and jakun-ness, I turned myself into Farah Fawcett. Pheewwiitt, old skool giler! Heh.

Random Mixed Tag.

1) Apa anda buat 5 tahun dahulu?

2003? Hmm let me see.

- Resigned from my 1st job which lasted only 5 months, started my 2nd job that came with better offer, bigger challenges and fancier perks. I’m still here but I can’t tell you how long I’m going to be here. I know some of my colleagues are reading.

- Huge break-up. I don’t want to dwell on this. Maybe one day when I’m ready.

- Started blogging. At first I went around anonymously but after knowing Lucy, Scravius, Picha, Ida, Yong, Shuq, Koi, Blip, dD, Zack, Tuty, Nadia, Shz, Bigg, I know I can go on and on with the names, sorry if there are names that I forgot but those under Little Pixel hosting lah in general, I went out from my shell. They turned out to be these amazing people and I love them to bits. You don’t go around and picked people at random to be your friends do you? Well I did, and I picked the right ones.

- Sign-up for music lessons at Akademi Seni Kebangsaan (now ASWARA) for certificate level as part-time student. I love it there, especially during study week where we had to practise for practical examination or stage performances. You could see at every room and corners, someone or a bunch of people would start playing music instruments or just start jamming with guitars, saxaphone, flute, gambus and percussions.

2) 2 perkara/habit yang tidak diketahui/ganjil tentang diri anda.

- I don’t like sweets, but I love chocolates.

- I sleep with my feet exposed out from the blanket. I can’t stand anything on or near my feet when I sleep. I can’t wear socks, or have any object nearby my feet.

3) 3 tabiat buruk anda masa sekolah.

- skipped art class. As much as I love this subject, but at one of the school which I can not tell you which one, this one particular teacher always asked me to clean up the art studio. There were only 2 girls in our class, and I hated the fact that she was using us as the cleaners.

- lawan pantun. Haha. This happened normally in boring classes. Me and my friends will start passing around pieces of paper with pantun in it and another party will reply it with his/her version. It’s not some boring or pointless pantun okay. Normally we made fun of someone or something. The trick not to be caught is, after you finished writing, roll the piece of paper inside the ballpen casing. This way, it looks like you were passing the pen instead of some playful message on a piece of paper. Guess we listened too much of Din Beramboi pesta pantun back then.

- skipped prep. I hid inside the locker. Size does matter y’all. Nuff said.

I live in a multiracial community and work in a multiracial environment. I think since I grew up in such way, sharing public assets, facilities and communication were never a problem. Besides, it’s always fascinating to learn about other culture and tradition which most of the time is different with what we normally practiced.

So I officially out of blood bank list. At 44.5kg, I’d be rejected even before I got my blood pressure measured. I’ve decided to maintain my weight +-1kg from now on. I’d be lying if I say I’m not happy with my weight lost, knowing hundreds of people out there failed to do so even after spending a fortune, while I spent none. But please allow me to complain and whine on the disadvantages.

1. Being a big eater, I normally get frustrated during meals when I could actually consume only one quarter of what I normally had. How to McD buffet like this?

2. I’m down to 2 pairs of work pants, 1 jeans and 2 khakis. Others? They just slipped down, man. Not a beautiful sight. And I have not start shopping yet.

3. When I sat on a hard surface, I can hear my pelvic bones clicking. OK that’s just exaggeration. But it’s true, my butt screaming for cushion.

4. When it’s cold, it means downright cold to the bones. My office temperature normally clocked in between 22-23 degree Celsius.

Sometimes I wish there’s a short course where I can take to study the commercial value of properties and real estates. I know there are realtors available for consultancy and advice, but how do I know their background and of course, I just want to settle for the best and someone with experience.

A female street cat has taken shelter in my cat Zorro’s ‘hotel’ (that’s what we call his small abode at the back of the house).  Zorro is not that fond of sharing his stuff, he even got jealous of us playing with other cats. So yesterday my mother decided that before Zorro finds out, the cat should be moved to other place. My mother tried to chase the cat away, but the cat fought back fiercely with fangs and all.

My mom took the water hose and started spraying water towards the hotel, the cat jumped out and guess what, there’s a kitten inside. His eyes were half opened, so he could be 4-5 days old. No wonder she got so defensive. She was protecting her baby.

As for now we let her stays there but at the same time we have to keep distracting Zorro from going back to his hotel. I don’t think we can keep another cat (and her kitten) at this point of time. The kitten would not be safe with Zorro around.

I’ll post the cat’s picture tonight, hope I could make it home before dark. Tell me if you’re interested to keep them. I’d give them away IF and ONLY IF you can be responsible for them. That might sound harsh but I think you all know my hates towards animal abuser/neglector(if there’s such word).
